Gift of Sight
Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness worldwide. The clouding of the lens can affect one or both of the eyes.
Victims in poorer countries like Bangladesh are most impacted since the treatment to remove them often isn’t available – or, if it is, remains exorbitantly expensive.

How you've helped
Ishaaq Ali is a 65-yeard-old farmer whose eyesight slowly deteriorated because of cataracts. Too poor to afford treatment, he visited one of our camps for help. He was quickly seen to, assessed and given free surgery. Today, he can work again and provide for his five children.
